In this video I am explaining an assessment activity that we used during our Ball Games unit. The central idea for the grade 2/3 class was "We must learn how to move in space with or without a ball in order to achieve a common goal.". They assessment task involved students dribbling a basketball around the court using as much space as possible. See the video for more of an explanation.
A good reminder to all teachers that what we do is certainly not about the salary that we are getting paid, it is much more than that that has hopefully led us into the teaching profession.
